Gynecologic oncology treats tumors of the ovary, endometrium, cervix, vulva and vagina, as well as breast cancer within the comprehensive care of women. It includes surgery, coordination of medical treatment and long-term follow-up.
A complete review of previous studies, physical examination, staging and discussion of the case with a multidisciplinary team. The plan is explained in writing, with the real options, their risks and their alternatives, before any decision is made.
Ultrasounds, mammography, CT or MRI, biopsy and pathology reports, previous operative notes and recent laboratory results. Originals if you have them.
